R1-Phase 3-Day 5-Part 1: Help for a Successful Phase 3


Today is day 5 of phase 3 for me. I’m -2.8 under LDW today! I am eating TONS of fatty foods, at least 100 grams of protein, and VERY LOW carb! If you are trying to eat low-fat and getting frustrated, then this two part video is for you! I had a lot to say, so I had to divide this into 2 videos. I’m giving you ideas on things that have worked for me and what I’ve read about the protein/fat/carb ratios. Hopefully, this will help out some of you who are struggling on p3! I use the Mayo Clinic calorie counter to try to come close to my calorie intake, although I try to pay more attention to getting 100 grams of protein and over 100 grams of fat per day! www.mayoclinic.com

    @kingpin5563 Thanks a lot! You’re very welcome. I hate to see people struggling. It doesn’t have to be hard. You just have to eat a lot of fat and very little carbs. ;-)

    @draddog5 You’re welcome. Yeah, counting the calories and ratios is a bit of a pain. I figued I would do it this first time to help other people out. After that, I don’t think I will need to do it. Good luck on a very successful P3!

    Thanks for the VLOG. I’m in my first Phase 3 as well. I have maintained pretty good and I have NOT been doing low fat as well. I haven’t been counting calories. I try something and as long as the scale doesn’t spike the next day I consider it “OK”.
